Step-by-step instructions for setting up Stack Mail on Android

Setting Up with Gmail App

  1. Open the Gmail app and tap the menu (≡) then Settings
  2. Tap Add account → Other
  3. Enter your email address and tap Manual Setup
  4. Select Personal (IMAP)
  5. Enter your password and tap Next
  6. Incoming server: imap.stackmail.com, port 993, security SSL/TLS
  7. Outgoing server: smtp.stackmail.com, port 465, security SSL/TLS
  8. Tap Next and follow the remaining prompts to complete setup

Setting Up with Samsung Email App

Use this method if you have the Samsung Email app (blue envelope icon) or any other Android email app:

  1. Open the Samsung Email app (or your preferred email app)
  2. Tap Add account
  3. Tap Others
  4. Enter your full email address and tap Next
  5. Select IMAP
  6. Enter your password and tap Next
  7. Incoming server: imap.stackmail.com, port 993, security SSL/TLS
  8. Outgoing server: smtp.stackmail.com, port 465, security SSL/TLS
  9. Tap Next to verify, enter a display name for the account, then tap Done

Setting Up via Android Settings (Samsung)

Alternatively, add the account through your phone’s Settings app:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Accounts and backup
  3. Tap Manage accounts
  4. Tap Add account
  5. Select Personal (IMAP)
  6. Enter your full email address and tap Next
  7. Enter your password and tap Next
  8. Incoming server: imap.stackmail.com, port 993, security SSL/TLS
  9. Outgoing server: smtp.stackmail.com, port 465, security SSL/TLS
  10. Tap Next to verify settings and complete setup
